Blocked Stormwater Outlets

🌊 It’s not uncommon for us to come across blocked or flooded stormwater outlets when carrying out routine or reactive maintenance and inspections. The example below shows the before, during, and after of a stormwater outlet servicing three culverts we were engaged to CCTV inspect.

💧 Upon arrival, all three culverts were flooded with water – and it was easy to see why. With our Combination Truck already onsite to pre-flush the lines (as required by the NZ Gravity Pipe Inspection Manual), we jumped into action and completed Hydro Excavation (Hydrovac) of the outlet to regain access and remove the flow.

🚚 Our advanced Combination Truck, which operates as both a Jetting & Suction pipeline cleaning unit and a Hydro Excavation unit, delivered big results – fast. In less than an hour, we had the outlet fully exposed and the pipelines clear, saving the client significant time, cost, and mess compared to bringing in a digger.
