1200mm Pneumatic Pipe Plug

🔧 Following up on our last post, we’ve recently put our large 1200mm pneumatic pipe plug to work on several occasions. In this particular case, it allowed us to temporarily divert the flow into a parallel culvert, enabling us to carry out essential maintenance and investigations on the original culvert.

📏 With a diverse range of plugs in our inventory, we can handle pipes from 100mm to 1200mm in diameter, and even larger upon request. However, using pneumatic pipe plugs requires extreme caution. For example, our 1200mm plug starts at 570mm diameter deflated but expands significantly to its full size of 1200mm, and extends 1.5 meters in length.

🛠️ Before installing and inflating these plugs, it’s crucial to completely clean the pipe of debris. Any sharp objects can cause the plugs to blow, posing a significant risk. This cleaning process can be challenging, especially in flooded pipes, but our team’s perseverance and expertise ensure we get the job done effectively.
